A handful of us are getting together. We will gather at the Ford dealer and hang out, watch some cars on the dyno, shoot the shiznit, and probably get food. All are welcome to join.

Dude, I never thought anybody here was anywhere close to me. I live in Madisonville, KY, only about an hour away. Maybe I can get my car together by then. Even if I don't, do I have to come rolling in in some sort of Fox car? I have a s***ton of parts I could bring in my truck that I have laying around. Please let me know. How many more members might be there? Thanks for the info.
Probably 5-7 members at the moment. You can definitely show up in a non-Fox car; the more the merrier!
I've yet to show up in my Fox!
Once, you did. You are a 100%er, but only 20% with a Fox!
That jogged my memory. Guess I'm also 20% senile!
:nonchalance:
How long do you all typically hang out? The reason I ask is, my senior daughter's HS graduation is the night before, and I'm probably going to have family over a little while on the 19th. Does everybody pack up early in the afternoon?
Typically we are around for a while. Some stay overnight, and travel home on Sunday. I can't speak for anybody else, or make any promises though. I am likely to head home early this year as I have an autoX on Sunday.
Being my first time to meet, I don't want to be the guy who doesn't follow proper etiquette. Does anybody else bring stuff with them to sell or trade? I have so much stuff I'd like to move that I've packed around for years. If this isn't the proper time and place to do that, that's cool. I just thought I'd confirm first. Thanks, and looking forward to it.
Bring whatever you like, no one will look at you sideways. Certainly won't be the first time parts have changed hands in Owensboro
If anybody else who'll be attending could bring any parts they'd like to sell/swap, that would be great! I'd love to do some swapping. I'll be bringing a bunch of Fox CougarBird stuff, as well as some '97-'03 F150 and '95-'01 Explorer parts. Looking forward to meeting you all. Later.
Saturday, Saturday, Saturday!

Gumby,
Since I'm the newcomer, how am I going to recognize anyone? I can tell you what I'll be in. It's a white/silver 2003 Dodge Ram single cab long bed, packed with parts in the back. Looking forward to meeting everyone and hanging out.
Well, I may have changed my mind about what I'll be in. My little '02 green 4-door Focus is much easier on gas than my Ram, so it's more than likely I'll bring that. I still plan to bring some stuff to sell/trade, just not everything I'd planned. Y'all let me know how to find you once I get there. Again, anxious to get to know some of you in person.
There will be general cars gathering around the Detail Center.
Look for this
Gumby,
Enjoyed getting together Saturday. Loved listening to all the horsepower. I think you may have convinced me to go T5 with my Cougar. Found a CL ad with almost everything I need from an SN95 Mustang. I just have to compare to the list you've posted to be sure it's the right stuff. Thanks again. Hey, what is Mark's username on the board? Later.
Glad you made it out.

I didn't make it. My 100%er status has been revoked!
Your absence was justified, but also felt :frown:
Gumby,
You said you had a thread on your V6/T5 swap? Can you drop me a link? I've looked for a while and don't see it. Haystack has one on a 5.0 T5 swap, but I want to make sure I'm looking at a V6 list. Thanks.

Gumby,
You probably mentioned this and I may have missed it, but were you able to get the right combo of speedo gears to have a functional speedometer? In Claude's thread from way back, I seem to remember that he said the speedo discrepancy was just a given. I'm hoping there's a way to get it back reasonably close. Also, remembering some of the issues you had with your exhaust and all your custom pipework, would swapping to the 3.8 Mustang's headers alleviate any of that? That's assuming I could find a set. My goal is not any significant horsepower increases with the headers. Just wondering if it would take care of any of the interferences you all talked about. Thanks again as always.
