Finally found my keeper!

Just today picked up this one owner, always garage kept, 30,000 mile 88 Turbo Coupe. Only downsides are that it is an automatic car, which I really don't mind, and the paint has a few minor flaws. Otherwise this car is immaculate. I have always been looking for one to keep and I think I found it.

It has 30,000 miles. The interior is the charcoal and grey fabric. The paint does have a few minor flaws, but it is 30 years old. Some of it is actually cat scratches. :)  I really can't get over how much I paid for it. Only $3000. Inside the car looks like brand new.

Nice score! What options does it have?

Polish the headlamps and it'll look even better ;).

$3000??!! I think you got a deal. Post up some interior pics when you can. The car reminds me of all the ads & commercials back in the day. It seemed they always showed the new TC in black.Again, very nice.

It really is a fairly low optioned car. Both power seats, power antenna, keyless entry, EATC. I think that is about it. Doesn't have premium sound, auto-dim lights. Less stuff to go wrong!  :) I have all the parts  to add those options if I ever decide to do so. Even the underside of this car looks unbelievably clean. The exhaust from the downpipe back looks like new. The only mechanical issue with the car right now is that the headlights and foglights don't come on. The flash to pass function works on the headlights, so I know the bulbs are good. I'll check it out this weekend to see what's going on there.

Just keeps getting better. Found the McGard wheels locks still in package and still taped to the lug wrench. Keys from the original dealer with metal tags. XXX

Nice score!  Cant beat a nice minty car that not everyone has for that price. These cars do look especially good in black, even if it is a pain to keep clean.
