Turbo hood scoop water block

Hi,
On the turbo Coupe model hoods, what does ford have in place to stop the water from rain or whatever from entering through the scoop holes. A picture would be great, so I could duplicate it onto my hood.

They don't have anything to block water. When I used the TC hood on my V-8 car, I used to fab my own baffles that blocked the scoops. Bolt in style so no mods had to be done, but the ducting was removed from the bottom of the hood in order to work on a V-8 car.

There's a large plastic duct and boot that directed airflow(and water if raining) into the intercooler...

As mentioned, the scoops go to the intercooler, not the intake so blocking the water is not necessary.

Wow, Kind of think that allowing water to go to the intercooler wouldn't be so great since water could cause so many issues with rust and deterioration, Etc. But, in the picture above I can see the duct work is quite large and I imagine has drainage of some sort to remove moisture.
I installed a pair, but I moved them towards the center of the car more, instead of being closer to the front. I guess I will fab something to block them off in the winter time and open them up in the spring and summer for ventilation. Thanks Guys.

It's not like the engine bay is waterproof.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
