Its wild to me that the preferred equipment package cost almost triple the upgrade to the 5.0

The Marti report said it was only one of 206 87s with this paint and trim code.

Would you mind posting the Marti Report here?

No confirmation from Ford as of yet in the form of an official Dealer Order Guide to go from but preliminary info says that the adjustable GT4 style spoiler that is in most of the pictures released is not the standard spoiler but part of the "Track Package" option like they did on GT350. They have also released this photo of a GT500 with this much less aggressive spoiler, which presumably is the standard one.
Notice also that this car has split 5-spoke wheels as well. The cars with the GT4 spoiler have the 7-spoke carbon fiber wheels.

Are you getting a Carlite windshield or an aftermarket one? The windshield on my car has little pits and scratches on it from 31 years of driving. I'd like a new windshield but I'd want it to be a NOS Carlite unit.

I have been wondering this too. Are new Carlite units still offered?
I looked at their website not too long ago and it wasn't listed so I'm assuming not and would be a NOS thing.

You have to use the 91-92 Mark VII axles, rotors, and the brackets that mount to the ends of the axles. That's what I did before.

OK, didn't know that. I started down that route, but then switched to the SN95 route before I got that far.

Parking brakes work and I have a TC rear end in the car. I was hoping to just swap 5 lug axles and buy 5 lug turbocoupe rotors that are modified to work with the axles. I remember seeing a company that did that but forget who it was.

If you want to retain the TC rear brake components, you can use rear rotors from a 1991-1992 Mark VII.

Snagged some pics of Jerry's conversion on his Marauder...huge difference.

The calipers are very close to the wheel and some have had to grind the cooling fins and relocate the stick on wheel weights but these are 17" wheels.  Right now the plan on the F100 is to have 18's on the front and 20's in the rear so this should be a moot point for me.

Just an FYI, the stock Marauder wheel is an 18" not a 17" so hopefully this setup will still clear the wheels you are planning on using.

Very cool project, watching from the sidelines.
