Fuel shutoff inertia switch

Does anybody other than Ford use this switch?

I've owned a few cars from other manufacturers, and I don't think they an inertia switch like the Fords do. I know my old Mopars didn't, and I'm pretty sure my Trans Am doesn't.

Not something I've ever thought about. I know I've had to bypass them once or twice.
It's Gumby's fault.

My 2011 Focus has one, mounted to the passenger side kick panel.

Gm did in the early 90s but I can't remember if it was the same style switch or not. Atleast my mom's 91 rivi did when she had me change the fuel filter for her. Other than that I have no idea.
