It's not overly complicated but if it's your first time disassembling a laptop make sure you go slow and easy, even if you're following an online tutorial. Make sure you have a nice area to work in for spreading pieces out as you remove them. Get one of those cheap plastic compartmentalized storage bins for the screws, they will grow legs and label them as you remove them. Take pictures of the routing of wiring (like wifi antenna) sometimes that's tough to get back in place exactly like it was.
I used a kit that Sherwin Willams sells in my last garage and was pretty happy with it. It was similar to the UCoatIt stuff. I seem recall it costing about $75/gal....
Shoot me a PM with your number... or pick a spot. My appointment is at 11 in the vicinity of Bluewater Bay. Just don't get too fancy on me, I won't be dressed for it. Flip flops and shorts are me in this heat.
And I've some mark VII size rotors and calipers for the front over here... I think there's even a hydroboost master cylinder in that box. All just sitting there since I sold my 'Bird.
To be honest, I don't have the time right now to get it crated up and to the Fedex office... It's in storage an hour from my house. Fedex does do freight so Depending on how patient you want to be I could look into their requirements. I was looking to get $200 for it with local pickup. Might be some customs issues too?
You can check if you want to but you're not going to like it I warn you.... Nearest truck terminal to where it is would be Dothan, AL probably. I'd have to figure out how they need it packed/palletized and what that would cost too. I shipped a couple of seats from Texas once and don't think I'd do it again, it's a lot of trouble if you're not set up for it.
