General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / New car...
Well, I sold my Supercoupe earlier this month and i bought a minivan so my wife could carpool to work.  After having to basically unbolt the torque struts and rotate the engine forward for even the simplest maintnence work I decided it wasnt for me, so I sold it and bought this...

Its an 87 Fiero with a 2.5 and 177k miles on it.  Looks like  but it runs decent.  Well the very next morning I hopped on to the internet and did my daily Cougar and Thunderbird searches like I have almost everyday for the last 10 years and I come across a 84 Cougar that I could have bought if I wouldnt have just bought this py Fiero the night before.  What kind of luck is that, the very day after I buy a car that I had to settle for, something I really want pops up.  So...

So I bought it anyway...

Under those blue wooly mammoth seat covers are perfect seats.  And after pulling off the curb feelers, its pretty nice.  :-)

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / 86 Mercury Cougar in Wichita, KS-- $400
I am selling my project 86 Cougar.  I have owned the car for about 10 years, and the body has about 150k on it.  I used it as a daily driver for some of that time, the rest of the time it just sat because i had a newer daily driver.  The car was originaly a 5.0/AOD car, but i recently swapped in a 2.3T/C3 from a wrecked 50k 86 XR7 that i picked up.  I planned on using the car for a race car, so i stripped it of anything not essential.  Most of the interior is still in the trunk, except for the carpet and headliner which were discarded.  Car has no AC/Heater parts left.

The car will need a few things to be driveable.  The tires will need to be replaced.  The wheels dont match because my parts car was stolen in the middle of the swap.  The windows will need to be repaired, i think they just need the motors taken apart and the plastic parts replaced.  I put a radiatior fan from a Thunderbird SC in, but it needs to be wired up.  I installed a new transmission cooler(the biggest i could get at the parts store) but it is leaking from the hoses.

The car has a new battery, plugs, and wires.  I changed the oil and the tranny fluid.  It starts up and runs great.  Comes with and extra set of doors(the original ones) and an extra stock hood.

I live in Las Vegas now, but if you seriously interested i can have my dad in Wichita show you the car, might take a couple of days to set up though.  I dont really want to sell it but I cant afford to ship it, and I only have room for 2 cars at my apartment.  Please ask questions if you have them.  Here are a few pics of the car and parts.

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / 86 XR7 interior for sale (Lots of pics)
I am parting out an 86 XR7 and an 86 5.0 Cougar.  I am starting out with an almost complete black/grey interior.  It is from a 50k mile car and shows very little wear except for slight sun fading on the outter edges of the seats.  The only thing not included is the dash, due to it being damaged.  Due to the size of these items, I can not ship them.  Looking for $200 obo from it.  Here are the pics:

Headliner

Front seats (power drivers, manual passenger)

Back seats (bottom bolt brackets broken, upper attachments ok)

Interior trim pieces (console has a couple of broken tabs, but still mounts up fine)

Door panels

Let me know if you have any questions!
