Title: slipping tranny
Post by: waferman on March 12, 2006, 02:31:39 PM
well, my tranny, for no good reason, decided to slip in drive (automatic). i checked the modulator and it was o.k. fluid also good and clear and free of odor. so i bought a bottle of Barrs tranny repair and lo and behold my tranny shifts like new. so if anyone wants a testimonial to a product..this is it. just follow the instructions to the letter. p.s....i used a vacuum pump to remove the 16 oz.'s of tranny fluid before adding the barr's stuff. once i save enough money, iwill have the tranny rebuilt...but till then i have a smooth running machine.
