I have a silver tc hood in my dads garage the i recall being rust free and straight...lmk if youre interested ill check it out for you. Shoot me a pm if interested
I drove past the guys house to talk to him IDK if he ever checks his email and didnt list a number on the add. Luckly I saw the tail of the car when we were passing the house. If he gets back to you lmk though I could prob get the car get better pics and part if if anyone was interested in some of the stuff. I would just want the front fenders.... maybe the doors. I hate to low ball the guy that much but we bought our 84 TC roller in much better shape for 400 bucks a few years back. This cars been listed for awhile now so maybe after some time he will crack. Tell him hey I got 400 bucks in my pocket and a trailer out front.... and he will say GET LOST lol. Then I wasted 30 bucks of gas or more
yea Idk what a guy would get back out of it? It looked solid enough to me to save but you know how it is when stuff its under snow all winter and then bakes all summer. I just DK if its worth it. Parting it would prob be the best idea considering the rear end damage.... but then again how many desirable parts are there on this car?
Yea I could get it home for free but Im worried the brakes are locked up and its in the guys back yard at a small house so it would be tough to get out. Hes askin 2000 for it IDK if he would jump at 300 even 500. I suppose it dont hurt to ask though. Whats its price in s u think? I would hate to see all those parts gone forever.
I saw this car in person its not as clean as he says it is its been sitting outside for quite awhile things are starting to rust and the truck lid and a bit of the rear quarters are bashed in from rolling it into something getting it off the trailer. I think its worth 500 ish bucks?
haha yeah thats what I was telling the ups guy... the thing would probably live though a plane crash. He told me to cover all sharp edges with something (although the prefer it boxed it does not have to be). He can have it picked up right at his house all he has to do is box/cover it up as he feels fit and print the lable and use box tape to stick it on there. For 50 bucks I cant really compain too much.
Yeah I have been looking at USPS, FedEX, and UPS now and it looks like UPS is the cheapest that will do it at about 50 bucks and they will pick it up at his house. The other 2 places wanted around 100 bucks . I was wondering if anyone has used greyhound or a differet method to ship large items like this before?
Im trying to buy an front bumper reinforcement from another member here on the board. Its for an 83-86 so its metal and relatively heavy. I dont want to pay an arm and a leg to ship this thing but I really need the part and would like to start working on the car again in the spring. I have looked into a few methods but Im not sure if the seller has the means to get it to a store to ship it. Are there companies that will pick items up from residental address? We may be at a road block here, but maybe someone with more knowlege has a few idea.
Yeah we apprently got about 8 inches yesterday where I am south of Milwaukee. Still have not fired the sled up, no time to ride. Thats the depressing part for me, still havent ridden my snow toys.
