T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / NOS Factory 5.0 Catted H-Pipe F/S
I've got a NOS catted h-pipe for sale.  It's designed to fit 87-93 Mustangs, but will fit Fox T-Birds and Cougars if you install factory 5.0 Stang headers.  This h-pipe comes with the air tube that connects the air pump on the engine to the h-pipe.  This WIILL NOT FIT an SN-95 Stang.

I'm selling this h-pipe for $150 plus shipping.  That's less than half the price a Ford parts department would charge for it.

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / 17" Enkei 4 Lug Rims F/S
I have a set of Enkei CDR-9 rims for sale.  Here's a link with more info on them.

 http://www.jdmhub.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=7_5312_32263&product_id=86948

These will fit a Fox 4 lug car.  They do have some scratches, but are still in fairly good shape.  The tires come with these rims as part of the deal, but aren't in good shape.  They're Goodyear Eagle GS-D's.  One tire is an Eagle F1.

Electrical Tech / Are H4 Headlights That Much Better?
On my 87 Bird, I made a new headlight harness with relays, hoping that would improve my dim headlights.  It helped a little, but not enough. The next thing I did was to ditch the 9004 bulbs in tabor of supposedly brighter 9007 ones.  To try and further help the cause, I bought bulbs that were the next step below Silverstars in brightness.  Since the 9007's have vertical filaments and the headlight lenses on our cars are designed for horizontal filament bulbs, the light from the 9007's is pretty unfocused.  It just kind of spreads out without doing s good job of shining down the road.

My other car, which is an 88 TC has almost new headlight buckets, but I'm still not happy with it's headlight output.  I'd really like to fix that.  Unlike with my other car, I want to set the headlights on this car up so they're nice and bright.  I'm already planning on making a headlight harness with relays for this car using healthy gauge wire, just like I made for my other car.  For this car though, I'm wondering if setting it up to use H4 bulbs would be the way to go.  I know the low beams on our cars are a paltry 40 watts.  Aren't H4 low beams 80 watts?  If they are, that seems like it would make a nice improvement over the 9004's I'm using now (I'm planning on using Hella clear bulbs, because they come so highly recommended).  The 9007's I installed in my other car are only 55 watts.  Wouldn't the 80W/100W H4's melt the headlight bucket (housing) though?  Anyone here running H4's in their car that could give me feedback?

I'm open to any suggestions here.  I really want to resolve this issue guys.  I don't have any interest in installing HID's, or projectors though.  Thanks in advance for any help!

Audio & Other Aftermarket Electronics / Double Din Stereos?
Does anyone have a double din stereo in the AeroBird/Cougar?  The center stack would be easy to modify for this type of installation.  I'm also wondering if you'd have to use an adapted plate to install one.

DARREN!  Where are you Bro?  :)

Body/Appearance/Interior / Moon Roof Motor?
I want to install an overhead console from a Mark VII in my TC.  There's a problem with doing that though.  My car has a moonroof and the motor for the moonroof is where the overhead console from a Mark would be.  On Mark VII's that have a moonroof, the moonroof motor is behind the moonroof, above the back seats I'm told.  Since a Mar VII and my car have the same chassis, wouldn't it be possible to swap in the moonroof motor and other supporting parts from a Mark VII?  I wouldn't expect it to be a piece of cake to do, but it shouldn't be that hard to do, would it?

Electrical Tech / Anti Slosh Module?
Does anyone know where the anti slosh module is on our cars?  On Fox Stangs, it's on the back of the instrument cluster.  I checked a spare T Bird cluster I have and don't see one.  :(

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars WANTED / WTB Keyless Entry Module
My keyless entry module (in trunk) has a bad circuit in it, so I'm looking for a good one now.  If anyone has a good one they'd like to sell, please let me know how much you'd want for it shipped to Columbus, OH (43232).

Thanks!

Drivetrain Tech / Finding An Aluminum Driveshaft
Hey guys,

I just found out a very useful bit of info that I wanted to share with you.  Not only do Aerostars and Crown Vic's with the Police Interceptor package have aluminum drive shafts. 4 door 2wd Explorers, some late model E-Series vans and late model F-Series trucks.  Late model extended cab Rangers have them too (standard cab Rangers reportedly have steel drive shafts).  That's good info to know.  That really widens your options of finding one.  I'm gonna head to the bone yards tomorrow and see if I can find another one.

Lounge / Android or iPhone?
Hey guys,

I'm gonna be eligible to upgrade to a better smart phonesoon and am trying to decide if I should get a Samsung Galaxy S IIi, or wait for the iPhone 5 to come out.  Does anyone here have experience with both Android phones and iPhones to give an opinion on which way they'd recommend going?

I'm self-employed.  The phone will be a lynch pin for my business, so I want to choose wisely.  Thanks for any feedback!

Engine Tech / Used Scorpion 1.6 Roller Rockers?
Hey guys.  I'm about ready to buy a used pair of 1.6 ratio roller rockers for the RWB and was wondering if I should look for a good pair of used Scorpions.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

Engine Tech / Temp Gauge Question
For those of you who have a 5.0 engine and buttstuffog factory gauges, on average, where does the needle point on your temp gauge when your engine is at operating temperature?  Smack dab in the middle of the gauge?  Does it point at the letter "M"?  Where does it point?  Just curious.
