Gt500 Shock/Strut fit Reply #1 – December 03, 2012, 02:47:00 PM I'm going to guess no as GT500s (and '05 and up Mustangs) are not Fox bodies. Quote Selected
Gt500 Shock/Strut fit Reply #2 – December 03, 2012, 03:14:36 PM By looks alone...no.http://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-handlingkit-0712gt500.htmlThe shocks you could probably get 'em to work by fabbing up a bracket, I'm sure they're different length than our shocks. Quote Selected
Gt500 Shock/Strut fit Reply #3 – December 03, 2012, 06:42:23 PM No. Not No, I don't know, but No, it won't work. Our cars use modified McPherson struts of a certain shape, and the GT500 uses standard type McPherson struts. So to make it work, you'd have to install a new larger strut tower, a different steering knuckle, different control arms, and probably inner and outer tie rods. And all that is assuming you have an engineering level understanding of suspension geometry and welding/fabrication. Do yourself a favor and browse over to maximum motorsports, get 87-93 mustang parts. Quote Selected

Gt500 Shock/Strut fit Reply #5 – December 04, 2012, 12:14:16 AM Although other than the strut tower and the spindle I don't see what else needs to be modified. Quote Selected
