Anyone blacked out hood?

I have always been a big fan of blacked out hood detail Ford has used over the years.
I did my last Ranger this way and loved it.

Im wondering how this would look on my TC or if anyone has done it already and can post some pics.

Im thinking just blacking out the center following the character line might look pretty good on my red car.

I had a black hood on my 87 Sport, though that was mainly because the hood happened to be black. I liked the look though

I think if you black out part of the hood it looks good. When the whole hood is black, it looks like you got a hood from a black car and now it is mismatched. It doesn't look like it belongs.

it'll be blue when i get the funds to paint the whole car but untill then, i think black works. just spray paint, but its held up really well.

Also, you shouldn't go edge to edge. You need to keep it away from the edges then trim it with a black pinstripe for a "finished" look. It's real easy to make a nice car look cheap.
