Electrical Tech / Re: eec question
If you go with the PCM from the 93 that is already set-up for 24lb injectors you will also need to change the MAF Sensor that goes along with that 93 calibration. It has to do with the preset tables regarding (maf sensor to pcm) which isn't a big thing other than the cost of buying the meter. Back in the day (some people may still have them, its been a while since I've seen those so I hope my memory is close lol) C&L Kits  had replaceable meter tubes to basically trick the pcm when people used different injectors.

Engine Tech / Opinions on a new cam.....
Vinnie you should definitely contact Ed, I will say that the Anderson cams are good cams (I know someone running the N71 in a 347 stroker that runs 10 0's), but a custom ground cam is the way to go! I know Ed from racing in the NMRA, he is a good guy and will take care of you.

It's probably just a dead/dying pump. When mine died, it went silent. After screwing around, banging on the tank and all those hail-mary tricks, it did come one one final time, just enough to drive it home, then never ran again. It's not uncommon for a dead pump to give a couple death throes here and there, lol.

There could also be a big mouse nest on top of the tank. Mine had that too when I first bought it (after sitting for 8 years). No wiring damage, thank goodness, but there was about a 20" circle of nest debris up there. It is a nice spot for a nest, if I do say so myself, lol.

Don't forget to replace that in-tank rubber hose that goes from the pump to the top of the sending unit too. Even if it looks OK. They all go bad eventually (crack and leak) and cause low fuel pressure.

You're right about the in-tank fuel hose, I used steel braided hose left over from another job and its been good to go.

So I  should be able to bypass the fuel relay by removing the connector, jump across  from the hot wire with the key on, to the (I believe it is the pink black) wire to the fuel pump and it should start pumping fuel.

Yes if you apply a 12 volt power source to the PK/BK wire it should come on as long as the ground wire is good and the PK/BK wire is good. You can also jump the Red or Yellow wire to the PK/BK.

I can't remember off the top of my head but I believe it's near the inertia switch in the trunk. I think it's green in color.

I just pulled out my Ford EVTM Book, the fuel pump relay is in the trunk area above the right side wheel well area. You are correct thunderjet302, it is green in color unless someone replaced with an aftermarket relay.

Exhaust / 2 1/2'' exhaust tubing over rear axle
Quote from: jcassity;466541
are you guys cutting your tail pipes before the axle and making the tubing height adjustable there?

i am finding it very difficult to use off the shelf 2 1/2 '' exhaust tubing a big challenge to make it over the rear axles without bumping into things.

i end up with almost a finger width of room in any direction.

You could cut and add where you need to, or take it to an exhaust shop and have them custom bend some for you.
