I'm desperate, I have an 88 Sport Coupe that won't start. Turns over fine. The fuel pump relay is humming (thought it was my blower fan) and the car never starts. Replaced the relay thinking it was an easy fix but no joy. Car is totally stock, any suggestions on what could have given out. Car started fine this morning.
Tracked my fuel gauge problem to my fuel tank float, figured while I was in there I would go ahead and replace my fuel pump and sending unit. Anyone have a recommendation? I can't find any Ford parts locally or on Rock Auto but would prefer them if they're stilll available. Got a good source please post!
Anyone have a good source for a upper steering column bearing? The heat in Texas and Florida has killed my steering wheel and melted a black goo out from between the leather stitching. Now when I turn the bearing squeeks. Going to try to clean and repack it but if that doesn't work would like to install a new one. Anyone have a source to buy from?
Looks good, do you have the system sentry, if so when it sequences does the lamp out light go on? Also did you set this up to sequence when you brake or is that how its designed? My old 69 cougar only sequenced with the turn signals and hazard lights that was what I was hoping to do to my T-Bird.
I think the interior with the lighter colors have two tone dash boards to cut the reflection from the windshield, just a thought. From what I've seen the dark dashes are a single color.
So I"ve finally got some spare cash to buy a sequential light kit and see that Carmen no longer sells his kits does anyone have a source for a 2nd best kit? Eric has Cougars Unlimited listed on his site, anyone using theirs?
Tried PM'ing this before don't know what happend. Did you happen the sell the side mouldings? If not I need the passenger rear belt moulding between the door and the wheel well for an 88 Sport Coupe, also looking for the interior power mirror covers. Thanks, Roger
