T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars WANTED / Blue a-pillar trim
I have some blue ones, but they seem to be the worst to hold color. The ones I have also have some fading on them. You'd likely be better off painting them to match.

You were able to purchase a new windshield?  I need to replace mine as it’s delaminating and looks to be leaking as well.

I did get a new one installed. Not a Carlite though. Just a generic brand.

Are you getting a Carlite windshield or an aftermarket one? The windshield on my car has little pits and scratches on it from 31 years of driving. I'd like a new windshield but I'd want it to be a NOS Carlite unit.

It's likely an aftermarket. I didn't even ask the question. This particular car is not worthy of NOS parts. This one is my hooptie hotrod! :)

Getting a new windshield installed tomorrow. Hopefully that fixes the issue. It needed a new one. There are about a dozen  or more little star cracks in this one. I've never seen one so beat up without a major crack. Cost was only $245, which surprised me. I was thinking it would be much more expensive.

Might be the windshield glue has failed. This happened in my 88, the only thing holding the windshield in was the chrome trim. Actually came in handy, because I discovered it when I was taking the glass out to paint the car, and the windshield just popped out. Stand next to the car with the window open, reach in, and push out on the corners of the windshield. If it moves at all the glue has failed and it'll have to be removed and reinstalled.

I'm thinking you may be correct. It seems to be getting a little movement all across the bottom as best I can tell.

No sunroof. It must be something other than the door sill. Just sitting in the rain, it's getting wet. Haven't been able to really do a good job seeing if that heater box drain is clogged. Raining here and just not able to get up under the car to do a thorough job.

Probably. I have a project I'd like to try but I want another headliner so, if the project doesn't work, I at least have one good stock headliner.

I have another turbo coupe that I am taking apart now. Maybe I'll see if it's possible to roll up the headliner and then get it to go back to original shape?

I would have asked to buy the headliner but shipping would have been hard/expensive. We went through that with the fender already :hick:.
Years ago, I built a 1933 Ford Vicky street rod and I used a very thin sheet of fiberglass and put the headliner fabric on that. It seems it would be possible to do the same with these cars.
