Everybody check out the radical '78 Ford Fairmont on Ebay. Kind of a reddish-orange. In Birmingham, AL. Buy It Now price of $12,000. He claims it's badged as a Mercury Cyclone. Not sure about all that, but it is a good-looking car. It has a very built 250 I6 (turbo'd, injected, roller cammed). At 7psi, he claims 350hp. I believe what he says that you won't find another one like it. What do y'all think?
Interesting. Not my cup of tea, but interesting.

Yeah, his build is over on the FEP forum.
The engine build itself interested me. The rest of his design choices, not so much.
Chuck,
Is his I6 build anything similar to what you'd started a while back, on a 200? He says he adapted BMW components for induction. And what does he mean, "the car is badged as a Mercury Cyclone"? I've been diggin' Fords and Mercurys all my life (which is an undisclosed number of years, but up there), and feel like I've heard of most cars each company put out. I've never heard of a Ford Fairmont with Mercury Cyclone badging. Is is a Canadian model? Just curious.
Similar engine stuff, yeah. I don't remember all of the details on his set-up though.
The "badging" is just something he did. It's not a special model or anything like that.
