My '69

Here's the '69 Cougar Eliminator I bought way back in 1983. Just a cheap used car, in those days. Was my daily driver all through college, and until I bought a 5.0 Mustang LX in 1989. (Still have that one, too.)

351W 4 barrel, originally with a 3-speed and 3.25:1 rear gears. I'm currently running a TKO 5-speed and 3.60:1 gears on a Detroit Locker.

Nice, just dripping with shagy, then I'm a sucker for a sweet '67-'70 Kitty...

Nice Cougar.

I like that you actually race it. So many people are afraid to do that with old cars. My Thunderbird is clean but it still gets thrashed down the 1/4 mile a couple times a year. Makes it more fun :).
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.
