whats the difference with a 1993 cobra distributor? January 02, 2005, 09:16:20 PM Happy New Year!I purchased a distributor for my buildup from ebay awhile back. It is said to be from a 1993 Mustang Cobra 5.0 motor. I haven't installed it yet, getting ready to get motor finished and saw in an auction a new distributor and that it fit most applications from 1985-1993 EXCEPT the 1993 cobra motor. What would possibly be different from this distributor and the usual EFI Ford distributor our cars use? I wonder if the drive gear is made of a different material, I would hate for it to screw up my cam if it is wrong. I don't know what else could possibly be different.ThanksTim Quote Selected
