Manual side mirrors

Are these a thing or were they all just electric?

Cool, I'll add it to my list. Cougar is getting gutted and converted to manual everything. Thanks for the database, man.

Good luck. I've seen two sets in 15 years. When I was a kid I saw 5-20 cougar birds Everytime I went to the junkyard. First set was on my first car, second set I bought at the junkyard about 5 years ago.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I have seen one car with manual mirrors, and one car with a single manual mirror.
It's Gumby's fault.

My first T-Bird had manual mirrors. Or, rather, manual mirror. It did not have a passenger side mirror. It had no options except metallic paint. Carb'd 3.8, Manual mirror, manual windows & seats, no cruise, no A/C, AM/FM radio (no cassette), no spoked hubcaps. Not even a front plate mount. The switch plate in the consolette was bare. It did have the rear window defogger but those were standard equipment here in Canada.

The '87 my Dad had when I was a teenager had a single manual outside mirror, and crank windows. I know there were others, but it is the only 87-88 I have seen with crank windows.

Well, I've got a set of manual window regulators and a set of manual seat tracks now I'm looking for a set of manual side mirrors I see some NOS passenger side ones on Ebay. I'm going to fabricate some seat tracks once I pick up a welder for some aftermarket seats. Do you guys know what the going price for a Driver and Passenger set of manual seat tracks go for? I know what I had to invest to get a driver side track and it was way too much. Need funds for the rest of the car so I might put up a for sale on them.
