EDIT: Uhhh... 2692.

How about 3736?

I think I'm done. Now to figure out how to convert them all to pure text (the simple part) but keep the links to pics and sites that are inside the message text, while ignoring the ones outside. Hmmm.....

so if you imply that ive always had access to it,,,, then where was this link before you posted it just now :dunno:
ive looked a couple times now and its is not in an obvious place.

I guessing that no one else bothered to ask you yet cause from the last post, it appeared that you were still working on the collection/access part.

What he meant was that you can view all of the threads on the old board (it is still there, after all). He just gave you a link to the old board.

Yes, indeed it is. A few months ago EZBOARD got hacked and they lost the information on thousands of messageboards, including our old one. They said that they were trying to recover it but essentially said to not hold your breath. It's gone forever. Thankfully Masterblaster has archived just about all of it...

I tried clicking on some of the EZboard links, apparently they've been deleted...

See my post above: EZBoard crashed and lost all of the threads. They're gone forever.

Does he still have em, I wonder?
Some of those mods I was gonna do when weather warmed up.
If not though, no biggie.

Yeah, they're still here.

I usually only use them when I see "I remember a thread on the old board about......" and then I'll do a search.

Occasionally I'll pop in there and have another go at my home-brew automatic html-to-text converter, trying to keep the good links found in posts and ignoring ezboard stuff, but it's mostly an if-I-have-free-time hobby-type thing now. Way too many posts do do manually (without going bug-eyed after a few hours) and way too big to upload somewhere as-is (on dial-up).

Aren't all of the modds for our cars on the coolcats site. If we needed to store this info somewhere else as well, how much room would be needed. I love the idea knowing all this info is around somewhere for us to look up when needed. I plan on doing/finishing things on my yellow cat and maybe even my blue one as well in the future once my finances improve, slowly, but they are improving. I even plan on learning to do some things for myself once I have the space/time/money and other resources.

I have some of the mods on the site, but not all...and a lot of what I have need to be updated because we (here) have collaborated and discovered new information. I'd rather not be the sole "collector" of mods for these cars. Spreading out the wealth is wise because a) if my site goes down for whatever reason then people can still find the info elsewhere, b) multiple sites with the same information builds integrity and trust, and c) more sites = more web traffic for all. I think things have gotten resolved a lot quicker here on the board, rather than me waiting for e-mails from people who are trying to do something.

However...I do like the notion of a central library of sorts.
