Body/Appearance/Interior / Dashmats
Ya know I wondered that too. I'm assuming that since they're a dye that they should flex pretty good. On another note thanks for giving me an idea of what color dye to get. I'm not going to get a dash cap till spring because it's too cold to put one on now. But when I do I'll let you know if that charcoal is the right color. If it isn't that's ok because I'll just dye the speaker grills and auto lamp sensor cover and no on will know the difference:D .

that's pretty good. I didn't think one of them would hold up that good. I still don't think I'de drive on though.

Hmm I'm thinking I'm going to go with a Fox. I'de rather get a V6 because I would feel bad ruining a Turbo Coupe or 5.0 car by driving it in the winter (incase you don't know they LOVE to salt in the winter in Chicago) because there aren't too many of them in my area. Now I just have to find a Bird/Cat that isn't rusted beyond belief and that's still in good shape. That might take awhile.

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / Floor shifter fun
I know I could use the stock one but I wanted the B&M one because eventually when I get enough money to put a new engine in I'm going to race it. I figured that the shifter might help me when I'm trying to shift the trans manually when I'm racing.

User Rides / Do my T bird look good white?
Your 351 is too strong and its too cold for the battery to turn it over;) It's warm here today. It's going to be 28 but tommorow they're predicting 3-5 inches of snow. Great more snow on top of the 10-11 inches we already have:mad: .

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / Floor shifter fun
Thanks for the offer but I'm still deciding if I want to do the full console or try to modify the consolette. It's a tempting offer but I want to see if I can make the consolette work. Kinda of a stealthy mod (but how stealthy can it be with a B&M shifter :hick: ). But this might all take a back seat because I just found a tear in my passenger seat which means it's time for a trip to the upolstry shop. Great because it's leather and will probibly cost a bunch to fix:mad: . Oh well thanks again for the offer :D .

Well my brother will be getting his license in the summer and driving to school in the fall. I'm thinking about giving him my daily driver 93 3.3 V6 Buick Century to use. I figure if he screws it up there's no loss. Any ways I won't need to drive a car to school next year because I'm transefering to a school where I can use public transit to get to but I'm going to need another car to go to work and for hanging out on the weekends. I don't drive my 5.0 Tbird daily/in the winter because it's too nice and I don't want it to get screwed up. I've been considering getting a 3.8 V6 Tbird or Cougar for a daily driver in the fall. I've driven a 88 V6 Bird with 37,000 (that's right 37,000  miles) on it before I bought my Buick and it was a nice car, slow but nice. I didn't get it because I didn't want to ruin it because it was too nice. Any ways what are some good/bad points of a 3.8 Fox vs. a 3.8 MN-12? Any one who's owned one/owns one if you could chime in it would be appriciated. I just want to get an idea of which one would make a good daily driver and what I should look out for when I go looking for one. Thanks :D

I saw one. To mee it looked like they just changed the front fenders and nose and left everything from the doors back the same as the old one.

Electrical Tech / Found a insturment panel, but will it work?
I think that if you ordered the light group or something like that in the LX you got the full digital dash reguardless of engine. I know that I saw an 88 LX V6 in the yard with a full digital dash once. never though to pull it to see if the tach hook up was diferent than the one on my car (5.0).

Electrical Tech / fuel gauge staying on "full"
Once in a while when I start mine it will flash "E" when I have less than 13 gallons in it. But as I drive it starts to add fuel like magic. It goes to 2 then 3 then 4 gallons all the way back up to 13:screwy: . Sometimes if it sticks I just kick the bottom of the tank and it works again. Can you tell I really don't want to drop the tank to change the sender :D .
