Actually I think they are called DIPs.

Second computer is a classic built in 1990:
Tandy 1000RL-HD
768 KB RAM
22 MB 3600 RPM RLL C: drive
3.5" 720 KB floppy
13" Tandy CM-11 RGB monitor

I remember when my employer upgraded to IBM PS/2 PCs in '89 or '90 (can't remember which year). I was in hog heaven! 2 meg RAM and a 10 Meg HD! No more floppy swapping! WOO HOO!

My 1st PC was Commodore Vic-20 then comes C-64 (With external cassette player as HD and compatible with our Atari games...) :giggle: :giggle:

My 2nd was TRS80-IV (**cough**Portable**cough**, green and black screen with 2x 360kb drives)

My 3rd was an old recycled schlong server with 10 workstations... (8 inches disquettes and HD was removable 18" Plated PCB Disk)..... The kind of beast that make the light going down when putting it ON.... :giggle:

My 4th was :
8086 XT 8Mhz
512k Ram
10mb HD
Monochrome Video (Amber)

My 5th was :
Tandy 2500XL
12Mhz **TURBO** :giggle:
2mb ram,
256k Trident VGA
100mb HD
My dad payed 5000$ for it at RadioS in  +/- 1990

I Got my load of 386SX/DX, 486, Pentiums.... Even ran a B.B.S. with messaging/Warez download for those who knows what im talking about...
OMG 1.44mb at 2400bps was taking 1 hours !!!!!
I Remember i paid over 500$ for 2x BOCA 14.4kbps modem for my board at the time.....
Those where horrible to configure with all manual hardware adressing IRQ, DMA on every Controller, Sound Card, and CD-ROM Card because drives werent IDE....
So many memories...  :)

And now i got :
Intel P4 1.6Ghz 512kb (Overclocked at 2.1Ghz since I boutgh it 2 years ago and benchmark tested at 2.4Ghz capable)
