T-5 question...

I know the Stang 4cyl T-5s have a lower 1st and 2nd gear, is rthat the case with the T/C T-5s as well? Or do they have the same gearing as the 5.0s?

I believe it is.  I believe 1st gear is 3.97:1 for the T/C version as opposed to 3.35 for a 5.0 version.

In a nutshell...

'87-93 2.3 T5's and '87-88 Turbo Coupe transmissions are identical. However, the Turbo Coupe T5's have a different speedo gear than the n/a versions (as do all T5's that were behind turbo engines), and Turbo Coupe T5's have an electronic speedo drive, not a cable drive like the Mustangs had.

Clarify that....only the electronic speedo ones do.....
