Mustang 8.8 Swap clearence

Last week i found a good deal on a Mustang 8.8 with 4.10's so i went ahead and got it and decided i would install it. I was thinking of swapping in the cougar axle's like i had planned on but decided to see how it would work with the mustang axle's with cougar brakes. Yeah this is narrower but i thought i would show the clearance you would have with stock tires and wheels. My tires are one size smaller then what we are supposed to run right now but they were half the price.

So what is the difference?  Its obviously the left and right side but are they both with the Fox Mustang 8.8 installed?  What did it look like before?  We all pretty much know if you are using the same rims and tires before and after the swap it will move the tires in 0.75" or there about.

I just wanted to show that it will work if you don't want to mess with trying to get the cougar axles to work in the mustang 8.8 To me it does look a little funny but i think most people would not notice. If i say 4 lug and need more clearance for wider tires i will just get wheels with a different offset. Maybe i was overthinking it but i didn't know if the clearance would be to close so i thought i would show that you still have plenty of room.

Okay, so the pics are of the Fox Mustang width 8.8 with drum brakes.  Did you use the stock wheels and tires off of your car or are they off a Fox Mustang?  Also what year is your Cougar or Bird?  All of this information will help anyone looking at this thread so they get a better idea of what they are looking at and what you accomplished.  Not trying to be an A-hole here just trying to get you to see that you need to put down all the information so that others know what they are looking at and what all you used to do the swap.

I do agree that while its not a bad look but the rear wheels do get sucked in a bit and for me that only begs for more rubber under the rear.
