Title: Scanning EVTM's again.
Post by: TheFoeYouKnow on October 05, 2019, 06:18:39 AM
I was cleaning out my garage yesterday for my upcoming move, and I rediscovered my OTHER T-bird/cougar EVTM's.  A lot of people have made use of my 88 wiring book, but I'm coming with 1981, 1982, 1983, and 1987 in the next couple days.
I need suggestions for hosting the files when I'm done.  I want to be able to have them widely and openly available to anybody who needs them.

Google Drive. Easy peasy.

I'll start with Google drive, then.  Still open to suggestions.  For now, the link is in my signature.  I'm still adding links to the PDF, so it's ease of use will improve as I get through it.
I've set the shared link to allow download, which is probably the best way to use it. If you download it and the links on page 109 aren't working, it means I'm not done yet, and more links will work after the next time you download it.

Thank you very much when you get to the '83 EVTM.  Never had a copy so this is pretty awesome.

So what I'm going to do is get it all scanned and compiled to PDF, get it shared on Google Drive (link in sig), and go back and do links when I have time.  1982 is uploading now

I'm amazed vendors don't offer these digitally.

The FSM for most years is available on CD, but other manuals (EVTM, etc) are hit and miss. Shut up and take my money!

I guess we're supposed to pay $22 for a 72 hour window to look at and download the manuals? https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Home/Pricing/7

Well, then head on over to Google drive and grab one.  Just uploaded it, make sure to take the supplement as well.

Foe,

I have the complete wiring diagrams for my '83 that look like this:

If you would like the whole set I can email them to you and then you could host them for the rest of the folks here.  I did pay for these back in 1998 when I removed the CFI and EEC from the car and went carbed.  I still have the hard copies that were sent to me and as far as I know these are super accurate.

Yeah, thanks for taking the time to do this.

I've had hard-copies of the wiring diagrams and EVTMs for a while, but having a digital back-up will be nice.

Go ahead and grab the 83 EVTM from my signature, but I don't have anything for the Mustang side of that.  You might be able to get pretty close with the 88 EVTM.
