Fuel level reading on *full digtal* cluster June 15, 2013, 10:59:22 AM I filled up my 20th which has a full digital cluster.got in the car and started it, instead of having a letter F, it displayed the belowCOgotta look this up in the shop manuals but it was odd to see this. The CO changed to F in a couple minutes thank god... i really didnt want to have issues with the 20th right now with what i have going on. Quote Selected
Fuel level reading on *full digtal* cluster Reply #1 – June 15, 2013, 11:14:25 AM oh yeahi had the answer all along in my diy link,,,,,,, just gotta convert hex to binary then to decimal, too easy=========================Tach/Multi guage diagnosticall codes are Hexadecimal format and can range from 00 to FF (binary 0000 to 11111111)or (decimal 0 - 128) . While active in the various modes, they can be used as a "wiggle test" to check for shorts and intermittant circuits. Anyway,, display will be in hex format.hold the guages button in and turn the ign key to RUNAdvance through the tests by pressing the guages button.A steady Tone and 8 bars lit is a passing testNo tone with 24 bars lit is a failTo enter the Fuel computer self testPress and hold the Select button atleast 5 or so seconds until the test display appears then advance thru the tests by pressing on Select over again.
