Looking for a bell housing for a t5 to 302 bolt pattern. Needed ASAP. Mine broke in a few different pieces and it's my daily driver. A new one is 200 plus tax at Jegs but was hoping to spend less then that and make it happen this week.
Any help from local guys would be appreciated. I have some cash and can give you a ton of parts that I'm clearing out of the garage.
When running with the spout connector out does a MAS air EEC need to see an 02 signal or any emission components to run without ill effects?
My 02 harness was damaged badly and components of the EGR system arn't functional anymore. So I plan on removing the 02 sensors and the damaged harness. And blocking off the EGR and removing the smog system. Then running the computer in spout out mode as a daily driver until I can find all the pieces to replace what is missing in my system. (I like the idea of better fuel mileage) The car will still have cats in the mean time. Any foreseeable issues with running spout out and cats?
Been searching this subject to long with many questions still racing through my head. Any light on how this works would be great!
Stripped the Cougar for parts. I've been waiting for the right moment to start a thread about this project. I just got the motor in and it's sitting under it's own weight now. I'd say it's time for pics!
Definitely a work in progress so no hating even if you think it's wrong to put a v8 in a TC.
I'm needing a 5.0L engine to motor mount bracket. I'm pretty sure it's 79-93 mustang style but it could be specific to non-roller motor vehicles. It's for my 84 5.0L. I haven't found a vendor for this part so I'm asking for someone who may have a set for sale or knows of a vendor.
Here is a pic of the mount that I'm trying to use. I need the bracket that connects to the motor Both sides. It will be the bracket that the two smaller studs connect to.
I'm listing alot of stuff forsale. These are posted on Corral.net however I am listing them here also. Full description and pics are available through the links to corral.net. I have a world class T5 for sale. $200 dollars! It is setup for a 302!!!! Has an issue going into second gear. Never took it apart so I can't tell you if it is just a syncro or not. I did drive the car before I pulled the tranny and it would shift into second but took some getting use too.

Here's a small lot of some Bill Elliott collectibles. The last plaque is an Alan Kulwicki card (Not a real signature) and a home taken photograph. The decals on the 11 car that is open are stickers and they haven't held up well over the years. The big 11 car box is unopened but there is a mark on the box on the bottom right.
I just wanted everyone to know that I'm the new owner of the yellow kitty. Victor is a great guy and easy to deal with! If you are interested in the XR7 or wheels he has then don't hesitate to deal with him.
Well, since I finally got around to pulling the motor out of my TC I decided it would be nice to start a thread about it. With PICS!
Anyway, about a month ago she started to make a noise and backfire through the carb. I traced it down to a sticking valve. So i pulled the heads, and everything was "ok".
Today I pulled the motor to further troubleshoot. Turns out the lifter was sticking and that caused my cam to fail. I do not plan on re-using this block. However I was wondering what I could do about re-using the heads. They are E7's. The valves arn't damaged or anything, but I was worried about the valve guides being hurt. Any suggestions?
