what would cause my boost to drop from 17psi down to 15psi under full throttle, besides lose connections and such... old hoses? anything to do with the fuel pump or FPR? anyone with answers lets here them, or could it be the gauge itself? I would think not because the car does fell slower then usual. all help appreciated...
My brother tried out some of the new Synthetic Turtle wax Ice on his truck the other day so i decided to purchase some for myself after hearing him talk about how great it was, and how you can apply it directly in the sun. I had a few free hours today so i decided to spend it with the car and give it a good exterior waxing. here are some before and after pictures bellow for all you pic ws :flip:

I haven't done anything except crank up the boost to 17psi, K&N cone filter, and a accel after market universal Coil. I haven't even bumped my timing up yet.
The last week or so i have noticed the smell of gasoline in the vehicle when i am still in traffic or even when i am driving along, even after the car has sat for several hours and you get in it, you can smell the hint of raw fuel. I have checked my injectors, and i tried cleaning out the EGR valve and looking here and there but i still can't find an exact cause for this smell.
Does anyone here have any knowledge or assumptions as to what the problem may be, any input is appreciated.

Recieved my TC nose piece today completely intact. I have never seen so much newspaper and bubblewrap before very well done. He is most definitely a recommended buyer.
Im looking for a good conditioned 87/88 TC nose (headerpanel) and lowervalance (from the fenders front bumper and down) also in good condition with the arms not cracked or broken on the bottom of it.
I have run into a few problems with my car lately, it has been running extremely rich and getting very poor gas milledge. . . So i figured it was an oxygen sensor, well i replaced that earlier today start it up and it seems like im down a cylinder and it knocks and shacks and it runs even worse, Not to mention it wont idle worth a shiznit, i replaced the idle controller but i dont have the proper equipment to adjust it accordingly. . . anywho I rev it up a bit play around with the idle sensor for 5 min turn it off go look at the back and theres two 3 foot strips of carbon and fuel that blew out the exhaust all over the driveway, im taking off the plugs and there black and im giving them a clean as i speak, there brand new top of the line plugs. . . anyone have any other suggestions as to what my problem may be? i know a lot of you guys have TC's on here or know plenty about them like Garrett, Shawn and Chuck so im hoping for some answers. . .
UPDATE: took plugs out they were all black, it seems when it idles it builds up carbon, than when u rev it to 3-4 grand in idle it blows it out and runs clean for a bit. . . i really should get that idle postion sensor working correctly i guess huh?
