Quick Question, not trying to hijack the thread here. I'm going to be performing a 5.0L swap on my TC. As far as Tube K members go what's the best way to go? I see some guys go SN95 tube K's with SN95 arms and spindles, anyone have any input?
I couldnt believe these guys were jumping to distributor modules right off the bat. always check your basics first, fuel and spark. If you have a friend or someone easiest way to tell if you got fuel is to listen for the fuel pump to prime when the igntion is turned to run position...really easy way of rulling out the fuel pump or not. Then you check fuel pressure as previously stated by someone, Next is spark and theres lots of ways of checking for that to be honest. So basically it sounds like your fuel pumps more than likly toast, ive heard fuel pumps prime up and they push out nearly nothing for fuel pressure. Also take a look at your stock FPR for fun. Once you've covered the basics then you start trouble shooting other possibilites and cross off the list until youve discovered what it could be.
Selling my T3/T4 Turbonetics Turbo that has 6631KM's on it, to the tee.
I think its a 63.A/R T3 Exhaust housing turbo efficient to about 400 poonies or so. TO4E Intake Housing which would make it a 3" inlet, 2.5 outlet on the exhaust side.
Turbo is absolutely MINT, selling because the engine is yanked and im upgrading to a full T4 set-up. This isn't a journal bearing turbo it's a ball bearing design, which provides for quicker spool and in turn less lag time.
Willing to let it go for $850.00US OBO + shipping.
