Has anyone put 2003 Mach 1 springs (part#MCH 3r33 5310-AA) on a T Bird or Cougar ? I have a set I want to put on but they look like the car might sit too low . I have an 87 Cougar with a stock (no po ) 5.0 . I have 245/60r 15's on the front and I might have to put on some 225/50r 15's i have .
I want to do my 87 Cougar in a pro touring theme with 345/30 r 19's in the rear on 19 x 12 rims and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to mini tubb the rear. Has anyone done something similar ? Do you have any pics ?
I'm upgrading my whole suspension including the aftermarket power rack (15 to 1 ) I bought the Flaming river tie rod ends part #Fr1603 5" over all length. but they appear to be an inch or so too short. I havent gotten to bolting the rack on yet ( I'm at the a arms ) but is this going to be a problem ? has anyone else used these ? thanks.
I'm putting a 351w in my 87 Cougar with 500 or so horses and as much torque. I have an 87 Turbo coupe rear and I want to put aftermarket 31 spline axles in it. I have 2 questions: Has anyone here put 94-98 Mustang axles in a TC rear any can verify that they fit ? And does anyone know of a locker or posi differential that would work with 35 spline axles ( my preference ) ? my engine combo is ported Vic jr heads Comp solid roller .624/.640 .230/.236 @ .050 112. I can't decide weather to keep the stock cubes or go with a 410 stroker either way compression is 10.5 to 1
I want to try to put a "E" cam and E7 heads on an otherwise stock cougar 5.0 shortblock but I'm worried about clearence with the flattop pistons. Has anyone done this swap ? I dont want to do a complete rebuild.
