why do my pictures shrink June 04, 2012, 09:55:52 PM I posted a picture on my thread and it posted at about half the size I uploaded it as. For a very long time I thought this was something that Photobucket does when you do the IMG thing but I accidentally posted the same pic in my signature and it was every bit as huge as the one I intended to put in my thread. So why can my sigpic take up an entire page but huge pics you want to see in a post are diminished down to a shell of their former glory? Quote Selected
why do my pictures shrink Reply #1 – June 04, 2012, 10:43:54 PM Mine do the same. Think it's photobucket. Most of my pics are taken with a 12 mp Canon Rebel... Quote Selected
why do my pictures shrink Reply #2 – June 04, 2012, 11:06:47 PM That's what I though but like I said, when I accidentally put it in my sig it was enormous. Twice the size of my post pic. I think its a limitation built into the forum software. I don't like it lol Quote Selected
why do my pictures shrink Reply #7 – June 04, 2012, 11:19:14 PM I think its a limit built into the forum....probably to help pages load faster......i resized to the maximum in the Photobucket settings and all my images are shot in the largest file size and resolution possible. Quote Selected

why do my pictures shrink Reply #12 – June 04, 2012, 11:31:32 PM Def a site based limitation for file size. Quote Selected
why do my pictures shrink Reply #13 – June 04, 2012, 11:40:01 PM Yeah that's what i was thinking. I understand limiting attachment size b/c of space, but as for outside links it should at least be bigger than what it is. Nobody's running on AOL anymore lol. Or at least some way to make it adjustable in your settings. Like posts are whatever size they are, but you can adjust the max size that you can view on a page if you have a slow connection or something like that. Quote Selected
