Suspension/Steering / brake line problems on rear end swap
Hey guys i have put a lincoln 8.8 5 lug under my 86 thunderbird v6 and i cannot figure out what to buy to make the lines connect to the brake line block on the rear. It has two different sizes, one side is regular 1/4 i think. The other is at my best guess a metric size. I can't find any metric to standard adaptors at local parts houses or brake shops. Should I replace the line all the way up along with master cylinder or is there a simple solution. Also if anyone has done this is there a problem with the performance of the rear disc on the lincoln when using a mc for rear drum?

Electrical Tech / Please help me get back in my T-Bird!
Well I have replaced my multifunction switch and checked the wiring for bare places. Everything seems ok, but I won't know for a while. It won't blow as soon as you hit the pedal so I imagine I won't know for a month or more. I have changed the switch pedal a couple times already and it hasn't done much.

Electrical Tech / Please help me get back in my T-Bird!
The wire ends on the brake pedal switch have been replaced but I don't see any places where it would ground. Could it be the switch itself? Im thinking it may be the turn signal switch. My column is very loose after 195000 miles of use, and the switch itself won't hold on anymore I have to hold it up or down to keep the signal engaged. I will try replacing it and the other things you guys suggested. I miss my car so I hope this works! Thanks

Electrical Tech / Please help me get back in my T-Bird!
I have been chasing a short in my brake lights for a year with no luck. The only thing I know is I can put a fuse in and they will work fine for a while then the fuse will blow at random times. I have the interior torn apart and I can hold the brake light harness from the dash all the way to the lights. There are no visible wires and seemingly no damage to the harness. Could this be my cruise control. What else is on that fuse? Please help me fix this problem, I haven't drivin it in a year!
