Lounge / I'm back in the game I guess
Hey y'all, been a hot decade and then some...

I bought an 88 TC a few weeks ago and sold my 96 Cobra SVT and 92 Bronco.

Surprisingly I remembered my old login.

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / Cougar! With... a diesel?

The idea is neat (imagine daily driving this thing at 35-40MPG's). The execution needs a little finishing though (shifter stalk and engine bay wiring). What do you think? I actually like the concept (though maybe not in a Cougar). Think about how many cheap old cars are out there in nice shape with an I6? A Fairlane or Galaxie would be cheap and cool, maybe even something newer? A late 70's Ranchero with a spoogemins would make a rocking tow vehicle/pickup!

:burnout: :mullet:

Lounge / Ford reads the FTBCB
I also heard the smaller Ranger (w/diesel options) and mid-size F100. If those are true, that is a GREAT plan!!!

It's about  time they brought over the "good stuff" as well.

Too bad there's grumbles about selling Volvo now (kiss the Taurus/X/Sable/MKX goodbye).

As always an insightful and honest post Carm. I love the site re-direct, that's pure genius! I am also watching to see which site becomes the new ebay, though I have been signing up on all of them. Yahoo's auction site is "OK" but it looks like the other 2 I mentioned earlier are getting the lion's share. All 3 are viable alternatives. I heard grumblings about Google making their own auction site a few months ago when all of this BS was announced, but I can't find it. I wonder if it is still going to happen, or has a better chance of happening now? I had a list of about a dozen "favorite sellers" on ebay, of who 8 have now pulled all of their auctions. None of them were "PowerSellers" but all of them had near-perfect feedback.

How about buyers being able to make their feedback private, so you can't see what they've left for others?

This person openly admitted on eBay to leaving negatives today because... "I just left a negative feedback for a seller. Normally I would have let the issue slide, but with the new policies, I figured why not?"

eBay is practically begging buyers to leave negatives!

They should change that to read:

"You can now do charge-backs, leave undeserved negatives without fear of suspension, and generally run amok."

Lounge / Hehehe...the next mod just arrived!
Thanks! I'm going to set it up for the 50 "dry" first. I can always leave the wet side unhooked. I may not ever need the wet with the E85 conversion (alky burns cooler plus 114RON Octane).
