You can still buy Cougar/Tbird shocks and struts from rockauto.com, ebay, amazon etc. As for coilovers mustang the front coilovers will fit if you convert to 11" brakes and the rear coilovers will fit if you lower and flip the shock brackets. Lastly our rear shocks are extremely long about 2" longer than fox shocks so I would definitely recommend not using fox shocks.

The spindles found on our cars are the same one found on 4 cylinder mustangs. The 4 cylinder/foxcougarbird spindles are thicker where they mount to the strut. The coilovers that you are seeing are all made for the v8 mustangs which have a thinner mounting area for the strut. Honestly man I would just got to rockauto.com and buy some KYB shocks/struts those cheap coilovers aren't worth half a .

X2. Rock auto is less then half the price of any autoparts store. The sn-95 shocks are a bit taller, but would still require the spindle stuff.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
