Lounge / Good news everyone!
It looks nice. I'm jealous. I'm not sure I could bring myself to scoot under a car sitting on a "harbor freight" lift though.

NOT IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS. That truck stock runs High thirteens 100% stock and if it is all wheel drive your do not have a chance!!! just me could be wrong!!!!

Fascinating how ford engines need PRESSURE to beat a NA CHEVY. Things never change. just saying!!!

OMG NOW I HAVE DUN IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lmao. maybe off the line but my high 14 sec focus svt can hold one off on the highway ok. My little na 4.6 mustang will walk one of those fat pigs no prob consistently as well.

I did not compare then someone else did. The LS has been out for years. Ford always needs wind to make HP This is a fact
yeah, my buddies 741hp procharged (only)2012 boss 302 and my others 2013 kb 800+ hp gt500 is just shameful and embarrassing. and I thought my little NA mustang was doing ok beating up un my uncles factory 01 shiznitbox vette.

Primarily, yes.  However, the Evo is turbo, intercooled and all-wheel drive.  Usually these things are rally MONSTERS.  Their primary competitor is the Subaru Impreza WRX STI.  These two are IMHO, the finest puppiesan has to offer in the segment.  I like my T-Bird better, but you got to recognize.

Thank you for verifying, However, I myself am very well aware of what it is. I have a close friend that has one that runs mid/low elevens. Tom, the O.P. insists anything Asian or front wheel drive based is garbage. His opinion, not mine.

Not sure what brand, I will have to check.  But my $6 Harbor Freight special 1/2" drive breaker bar, I have had an 8ft cheater pipe on this thing and it bends like hell, but does not break. I thought for sure the allen bolt that holds the head on would break, but hasn't. have owned it for 6 years now, and it always breaks things loose where other (a lot of time much more expensive) breaker bars fail
I will second this. I bought one years ago as a beater (because it was super cheap) and it's still with me. Never have felt the need to go out and spend big dollars on a "brand" name one as of yet. I'm not a fan if Harbor Freight junk but this piece does stand out.

Just trying to keep up but this IS an Asian manufactured front wheel drive based automobile, is it not?

I've thought this head type would be a natural (and easy retrofit) for the Ford 4.6 DOHC engine ever since you posted about it years ago. IMHO if farming it out overseas is what gets this off the ground than so be it. I'd love to see how it performs in a real world environment. That's not to say i strongly prefer it to remain an American company.

Lounge / new car, not a fox though
Sweet. Boss302? I didn't know they came autoloaded? Buddy of mine recently picked one up. Had a hard time breaking 13's stock. Didn't fuss with it much and went right to a centri. I forget if it was procharger or Vortech though.

Lounge / There is not a Hell heinous enough...
I can't recall a time when a "news story" ever made me feel physically ill. Not even 911 had this impact on me. I just can not imagine, fathom, comprehend how or why this happened or the pain left in its wake. It was a very different feeling picking my children (7 and 9 year old daughters) up from school today. I'm greatfull it didn't happen to my family and I feel for everyone closely involved.

Shame on anybody left or right/ Anti/Pro whom spins this with a political agenda.

Dont worry shame you will not hear from me any more
I've heard this several times before from you and yet here you are. That's not to say weather or not I care at all either way. I do not. I was just shocked that somebody like yourself who holds himself in such high regard would say something THAT ignorant.

Today I learned that all:
Front wheel drive cars are junk and do not qualify as a "real car".
Asian cars are junk.
100K mile/10 year hassle free warranties are junk.
Buying "American made automobiles" is still a "thing".

and finally GM should have stopped producing vehicles with the typhoon/syclone trucks as these were automotive engineering perfection. What everybody should want and must have is a 14 second early 90's GMC Jimmy.

Admittedly, without reading this thread, THIS is why I shy away from the beloved fox T-Bird and lean on the mustang. Between potential body damage, extremely or impossible to find glass, lights, moldings, trim and panels etc...I'd strongly prefer my drive train in a clean, presentable 88 t-coupe with a roof just it's just not going to happen. Perhaps if something happens to my car I'll look for a decent clean example but these beautiful things are getting super rare.
