Wiper Transmission play/slop, wipers wont park

Any way to rebuild the wiper transmission? I have a lot of slop in my wipers, sometimes they go just where their supposed to, and sometimes they go all the way up and smack the drivers side of the windshield frame/a pillar.

Are their bushings that can be replaced? Can the transmission (do they make it new, does it have a part number?)?

Also, the infamous wipers don't park issue, I replaced the wiper motor and it worked for a couple months, now its doing it again, is it because all the reman motors suck, or is their another piece to the puzzle I'm missing?

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
