what do you think? body colored painted reflector? i did it really quick, i might try again with another coat tomorrow if i have time.
x
Nay! Ayayaille.... :giggle:
Seriously...
I prefer without anything in.... but its only one opinion....
Hmmmm, I've been thinking about this subject alot too. Was thinking of paint like Eric did, maybe paint the outside of the lense. I been waiting for the guy with the reflective tape to post some pics. I like the painted one, but maybe paint it on the outsite. Looks good though. :)
heh...i want to change to the 87-88 front bumper to make them clear. i say nay. go clear pleeeeeease!!!!
Yeah, clear. That paint looked horrid.
Neither ;)
I wonder if its possible to find a white/clear reflector to modify and stick in there. Even just roughened-up acrylic may look decent if done right. These things just look too bare without ANYTHING in the sides.
Something like http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7931251783&category=33708 ? I don't know how big the actual reflectors are but it could potentially work
ok, thats the plan then, i wasnt sure how it'd look so i did it and just stuck it on and even then i wasnt sure how it looked so yeah i let you guys deside. ill finish glueing them back together tomorrow after school without the white part.
maybe it would look better on a black car with the inside of the flat part of the lens painted black, i was shooting for the same look our tail lights have with the black paint inside parts of the lense. guess it didnt work with white :p
on a 3rd note, anyone know if we can make clear reflectors instead of those amber ones? that would get rid of that whole problem all together :)

another possibility but it looks like thats $24 for 1...and I'm unsure how big it is
