Boss if your still looking for a spoiler try one off of a late 80's early 90's firebird kinda like whats on my van. I'll see if I can find a pic of my buddies old Cougar to show you what I'm talking about, its near the perfect size.
I wonder if putting a clearcoat on them will keep them from yellowing. I dont know if it will screw with the light dispersion or not. Kinda glad I dont have an 87-88 anymore lol.
I had an '89 astro that also had a 350 v8. It was ugly, and looked like a rapist van, but I did eat a few third gen camaros with it. In a sense I miss it, but selling it to buy my 99 explorer was definately an unregrettible decision lol
just fyi if you keep it- throw some g20-g30 van springs on the front to level it out. Worked wonders on ride quality for me.

edit: pic to laugh at
I kinda like the stance it has right now with the 3in drop spindles up front, plus its funnier then hell goosing the throttle and having the front pick way up lol. It could use stiffened up though. Right now I'm looking for some steel leafsprings for the back so can get rid of these stupid composite things. Got axle wrap like a mofookie lol.
The phantom grill has crossed my mind but I kinda like the stock sleeper-ish look it has.
Thats the plan. Got a few things on it that need fixed but nothing major. Should provide for some entertainment in the meantime and some extra funds for the Cougar once its sold.
I might have some more center console pieces for ya if you want them. I'll have too look through some of my boxes of stuff but I'm almost positive I have a black switch panel. I'll let you know if I find'em.
I got the hood open on my old '88 without messing with the grill or anything. Grab you a little 1/4 drive ratchet (cant remember socket size) and reach up inside and unbolt the hood latch from the rad support. Might have to unbolt the bottom of the bumper cover to allow clearance cant remember. I had to do all this with the car running and my keys locked inside the car.(long story dont ask)
I have to agree with Chuck. If you cant buy it without selling your car you probably shouldnt get it. Last thing you want to do bone yourself by selling your only transportation (it is isnt it?) and have the guy back out at the last minute after you sold your car.
Its a toss up between the '86 and the '65 for me. The '80 you said was never even registered, for me that would be a no brainer even though its nice car.
There was a warning yesterday in the Ashland, Medina, Wayne county area (right where all three counties meet) and as usual everything kinda dissipated by the time it hit Summit county where I'm at.
