Title: Lincoln Mark VII calipers
Post by: Chrome on October 18, 2013, 08:36:16 PM
Coolcats.net has a write up on using Lincoln Mark VII front calipers for more stopping power because of their larger piston. It said the piston is mainly the part that is different. I purchased these calipers and the caliper brackets don't fit. Could these calipers be wrong? If not, where can I find the brackets? I have searched the net and local parts stores to no avail. Local s yard does not have anything this old. I may have to settle for something a little more conventional. Please help!

Did you upgrade the spindles to the 87-93 mustang/turbo coupe spindles and struts?

No. I have 95 Mustang spindles.

you need calipers for the '94-00 Mustang then, the Mk VII calipers are for the '87-'93 Mustang and '87-'88 TC spindles.
