Coming to the states!

Now if Ford would add AWD, I would have ZERO ammo for explaining why I bought a non-domestic car.

Wow, 247 HP, that's pretty impressive. I'm sure it'll see the low 30s in MPG as well. All that said, it's really not my style...and it'll probably be near the SHO's price range.

Top of the line one of these will probably be a little bit less, I'd guess closer 20-25k mark (US dollars).

I'd still rather have the new mustang v-6 though. More horsepower and similar fuel economy.

While I am a RWD fan, if you guys have trouble with the fact that this is a FWD vehicle, go drive a MazdaSpeed3 or a Volvo C30.  You'll quickly see how fun the opposite wheels can be.

I have no trouble with it being FWD, I just wouldn't spend any of my money on it  , or a Mazda or Volvo for that matter . :rollin:

Bhazard may have some competition. Fiesta ST

If they can get that to handle like a Mini Cooper, it should sell. Well at least to those that can't buy an import. I doubt we will see it though.

Big difference between the Mustang and the Focus (besides the obvious drivetrain configuration) is passenger room. My son had to sit "indian style" whenever someone was in the front seat. That back seat is good for infants and backpacks. Somehow that car keeps getting bigger and that rear seating keeps getting smaller.

Amen! FWD's CAN be fun ya know.

I wish it had the turbocharged Volvo 5 cyl that the euro version had though. That had 300 Hp and sounds sweet while doing it...
