Some surface dings/scratches, but no cracks or pieces missing. Some of the plastic that surrounds the lug nuts are a little warped or something, can't tell why.
Wanted to see if anyone wanted these wheels before I tossed them. Trust me, they are not worth it to ship. I got these from a fox mustang guy, who swore they fit. He had them redrilled to the proper bolt pattern, but I can't vouch for their fitment nor integrity. Terrible refinishing job, looks like a 5 year old took a paintbrush to the wheels. Center caps included, come get 'em! Located at zip code 20878.
Well I guess there's some positive things to take away from this incident - in fact I've learned two things:
1. Never trust a person on a car enthusiast forum that lists 9 cars in his sig, yet is unable to make it out of the house because mom apparently took the only real/running vehicle. 2. Never trust a person on a car enthusiast forum that is "owner, operator, fabricator, painter, etc." of a shop with "thousands of dollars worth of equipment," but insists on doing half-assed, bootleg car work on cinder blocks in his front yard.
It's too bad that Shadow essentially threw away one of the best internet families over pocket change. He had many, many chances to just come clean. That's the problem with compulsive liars - they actually start believing the BS that comes out of their mouths.
Just pulled the trigger. Don't know if I'll ever use it, but I figure at least it's in the community now. If anyone picked up the rest of the kit and need this part, shoot me a PM.
If you're serious about buying all four wheels, I can meet you in Gaithersburg, or anywhere between there and Philadelphia along I-95. Shoot me a PM if this works for you.
