any spades players out there?

we play spades going
big joker, little joker, 2 of spades (aka= joker joker duce)
and here is my hand.

I got a 10 for 200 easy but not exactly a boston.

probably my 8th like this my whole life. Ive gotten a boston only 4 times.

this hand got 200 points easy though but you had to really watch the board. I can only wish that 3 of clubs was an ACE and that six was another spade.,, that may have yielded a boston for sure.

my hand was joker , joker ace,, missing the 2 of spades or duce.

any spades players out there?

Nice. I love me some spades, but WTF is a Boston? lol.

Haven't played in years due to my wife's meltdown while playing with her best friends (whom we never beat). She got banned, which means I got banned too. We play Skip-Bo now.

boston is when you get all 13 tricks.

spades is just like hearts,, only spades are trump.

to play, just take out the 2 of hearts and diamonds then deal out the whole deck leaving everyone with 13 cards.
partners is best of course.

sounds like you play some uker (sp>?)

That is a sweet hand. I've never got a Boston, most I have gotten is like 10 tricks, and never had a hand like that.

10 is rare,
do you play 10 for 200?

Oh. I've never had a boston either. Got close once, had way too many hearts and my ace got cut. I almost cried. lol.

My wife's family is mostly german so they play euchre for hours with like a thousand people. I tried to play it, for whatever reason it makes 0 sense to me.

yeah,,
rules for blind six=
you have to be at least 100points behind
and
you must bid and only get 6 tricks.
if you get six tricks then you get 120 points.
if you get 7 then you get 61 points.... 60 plus the extra 1 trick.

if you dont make blind 6 then you get set and only have to go back 60 points,, which is good.
