So after several years... my car is back in it's original parking place... The same spot where it disintegrated to almost nothing...
I got the stuff for my 24# injector upgrade, which will probably happen tomorrow or Friday along with all the light bulbs.... I installed the hood scoops finally, along with the hood latch last week...

looks like registration will be very soon now... finally

here's the official before and after pic
look the inspection and registration stickers on the windshield are still the same.... from 2003....lol

when it goes for inspection at my friends shop. I will get some good pics of all the work I did to it underneath when it's on the lift

before..... obviously ....lol

and after... the shop has also gotten much bigger since then too....:hick:

it really isn't the same car...only a handful of metal is original to it.

This is my way of relaxing and doing something fun. If it takes me 5 years or more to do it, that doesn't bother me

congrats jerry! it did take just as long as you said! but awesome job!

Ok.. I'm ahead of schedule...
thinking about it... I'm going to wait until after I register, and have the car inspected before I change the injectors....
just in case something goes wrong, and it delays me...
so as far as I can see.... it's ready.... everything seems to be working...
I just have to get the wipers to go back down to park

Check your ground wire coming off the wiper motor. It did that to me when my ground was bad.

Project Evolution *** Project Complete **** Wednesday July 9, 2014

its been going bad since about 1994..... it would randomly not park and squeal..... I'll check the ground, and do the motor clean, and see if that does anything.
I have another motor if it doesn't want to work anymore... it served me well through the years
