Throw some stock Fox Mustang headers on it, a Fox Mustang H Pipe, then have the rest added at the muffler shop. The H-Pipe and headers are a simple bolt on, but the mid pipes and tail pipes are different from a Mustang.

Or, if you're only interested in the look, you can get the 88 v8 cat-back, for what is essentially a single exhaust with 2 mufflers and tails.

It bears mentioning that the HO headers and H-Pipe setup will require HO oxygen sensors, or 8 inch(?) extensions; as in that setup, the O2s are in the H-Pipe and not the manifolds/headers.

You can also lengthen the car's oxygen sensor harness (that's what I did). Be sure to solder the wires and not use a crimp connector.

DO NOT lengthen the oxygen sensor wires themselves. You'll ruin the oxygen sensor that way.

Late 86 on the o2 sensors are heated. The 4.6 mustangs have six catalytic converters and pre and post o2 sensors, the post o2's are near the end of the h-pipe.
