Mostly stock Bird overall but I swapped to SN95 spindles and a 3:55 geared 8.8 T-Lok rear axle with rear disks to run the 2001 Cobra rims

It's been a long time since I've posted, but I wanted to show off my new snowflake wheels. My old ones were looking rough, so I found that RockAuto is now selling refurbished snowflake wheels by Transwheel in Indiana. Transwheel did a great job refurbishing these. I wrapped them in BFGoodrich Comp T/A high performance summer 245/50/16 tires, since I'm in CA now They are very sticky!

That's pretty awesome! Did you use the 5% discount code on them?
    It's Gumby's fault.

Those refurbished snowflakes have me rethinking the strip and polish thoughts on my wheels. Looks good.

Yup, Transwheel did an awesome job refurbishing the wheels. Looks like they acid dipped them, painted the pockets gray, machined the face, then clear coated the entire wheel. The wheels spun up perfectly true on the tire balancer and only required a couple of ounces to balance with the BFG's.
