88turbo
09-04-2005, 02:12 PM
planning on changing wheels soon to some chrome cobra R'smight do some cleaning on it tomorrow since I'd be the only one at the shop. should I do wheels next or a GST body kit?

Tbird232ci
09-04-2005, 04:36 PM
id go with wheels, because wheels generally make the biggest impact on a car

plus, why put the money into the GST kit when you have some rough looking wheels?

88turbo
09-04-2005, 11:30 PM
good point.. I guess I'll get the wheels first then save for the kit. I really like the look of the GST kit

ipsd
09-05-2005, 01:12 PM
I wouldn't add the body kit Ford did some extra stuff to the T/C to make them lighter so I would preform better. Also before you buy wheels I would compare there weights to make sure you weren't adding weight there. Just my .02 cents though

88turbo
09-06-2005, 07:23 PM
not going for weight going for the looks

do you have the flowmaster tails? I think we extended them about 13 inches but something still isnt right. when I go through a dip in the road something hits and it doesnt feel very good. I'm not really sure whats going on back there maybe I need some new springs :dunno:

nope, bought some mild stainless sheets and got them fabed at a muffler shop, they cut them and gave them the mustang style tip and what not, honestly i do not know what could be causing the noise or rattling back there, my guess is as good as yours, but from the sounds of it the shocks might be bagged :yuck:
