PS - so I'm not a total idiot, I believe the rear end housing is probably a 7.5" unless maybe it's a supercharged model (no you can't use the blower on your car, never) then it may be an 8.8" Either way it's not compatible with your car.

yeah, they're 7.5 unless it's a SC, at least, the wife's 89 is a 7.5...

I'm pretty sure 91+ V8 MN12 models all had the 8.8 pumpkin, some with traction-lock, some without. In Mark VIII's, it was aluminum.

You guys are forgetting 2 things:

First, you can do anything you can put your mind to... thats what my teachers told me.

Second, with a little jb weld and some muffler tape you could fab up some badass brackets to fit in that rearend!
